Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 1 year and 3 months old
My cat started to pee on my bed if I leave bedroom door open. If it stays closed, there is no problem and he uses toilet. I have a big apartment and he would only pee on my bed if door is open. This started to happen after I was at home for 1 whole month after operation. Then I started going back to work and this started to happen. I first took him to the vet and got him castrated, but it didn't help. Suspecting separation anxiety, is there a medicine for it?

It may be caused by stress and anxiety from the move into your mums house. You could, however, have your vet run a urinalysis just to make sure she doesn't have a urinary tract infection. Otherwise, you could try a Feliway diffuser/spray to see if that helps. You could also try Solliquin chews. If the problem continues, talk to your vet about trying an anti-anxiety medication, like Prozac to see if that helps.
