Why is my cat sneezing a lot, has chin acne, and also diarrhea?

From the pictures and your description she needs medications and possibly some fluid therapy. Keep her eyes and face clean just using a rag with warm water. Do not use human medications or eye drops. Encourage her to eat and drink, chicken broth or tuna water may help encourage her to eat. Deworming medication may help her diarrhea if it is caused by parasites. Jack's eyes and stool most likely are not related although can be. He may have an upper respiratory infection, conjunctivitis (inflammation in the conjunctiva of the eyes which may be infection vs allergic), Jack can have a corneal ulcer (less likely if it is both eyes that are affected) or even allergies (which are less likely due to age). With all of his symptoms, including a runny nose and sneezing it seems more like an upper respiratory infection. It is a good sign that he is still full of energy. With his stool, it can be stress or intestinal parasites. It can also be that he got into something he wasn't supposed to or even a virus. When you go to the veterinarian I would recommend bringing a stool sample so the veterinarian can make sure there are no intestinal parasites. They may dispense eye medication and medication to help with the diarrhea. Depending on the cause they find it just may be antibiotics for the diarrhea or it may be a dewormer. She could have an abscess or infection in her glands or diarrhea that leading to discharge or fistula. The sneezing is common in kittens and can be from a respiratory infection. I would have the vet check her. the respiratory component are easy to fix. If there is an infection or abscess and diarrhea, they can do a stool sample to see what the problem is and how to fix it to get the area to heal properly

Poor Jupiter! It sounds like the poor guys is pretty sick. Jupiter is likely dealing with an upper respiratory tract infection. Cats can get allergies but a URI is much more common. Many times they clear the infection but sometimes they need to be examined and treated by the veterinarian. If your kitty is not eating or drinking well, seems lethargic, squints the eyes, has discharge from nose or eyes, has trouble breathing or has a cough beyond 5 days , you pet should be examined by the veterinarian. The diarrhea could be caused by many things including worms, coccidia and bacterial infection (in addition to other causes). If the diarrhea has continued beyond 24 hours, I recommend to have him examined by the veterinarian. With continued diarrhea, there are often bacterial shifts in the gut that will make matters worse regardless of the initial cause. Make sure to bring in a sample of fresh stool. The doctor will check him for parasites and bacterial over growth. Many times a bland diet can help and then a slow, gradual introduction to the normal food can be done. A bland diet can consist of 25% boiled white meat chicken and 75% boiled white rice. This should all be plain. I hope Jupiter starts feeling better quickly! It's good that everything else is fine, but if this sneezing continues, I would take her into the vet. Take her into a vet right away if she stops eating, becomes very lethargic, and/or has problems breathing. There are a few things you can try at home for her. First, you can try starting her on an L-lysine supplement - this is an amino acid that has been shown to help the immune system fight off respiratory infections more effectively. Enisyl and Viralys are both good brands, and can be purchased over the counter without a prescription - just follow the dosing instructions on the label based on your cat's weight. If she's congested, you can also try using a humidifier or bringing her into the bathroom with the door closed while you take a hot shower - the steam and humidity help to break up congestion and temporarily relieve symptoms associated with respiratory infections. Poor Gris. When pets have diarrhea beyond a few days, they need to see the veterinarian. It is common that the bacterial populations will shift and make the problem continue regardless of the initial cause. Most of these pets will need antibiotics, probiotics and a bland diet. He should also be tested for parasites to see if that is the cause of the diarrhea. The sneezing may not be related to the diarrhea.
