Why is my cat sneezing after moving to a new home, but seems healthy?

I'm glad to hear that Kiara is still eating and drinking well despite her sneezing. Cats can sneeze from time to time as a normal response to clear irritants out of the nasal passages, just as we do. More persistent sneezing can be caused by upper respiratory infections, allergic causes, or nasal polyps, among others. As long as Kiara continues to eat, drink, and act normally in the absence of any nasal discharge, it is ok to continue monitoring her at home. At 2.5 months old, I imagine that she is still going to her vet frequently for booster vaccines, so it is worth mentioning the sneezing at her next appointment. However, if she develops any nasal discharge or changes in her appetite or energy level, she should go to the vet more urgently. I hope this helps and that all goes well!

A lot of cats have viral infections such as influenza, herpes and calici, that come and go. They hide in the system and recur usually in times of stress. The move has likely caused a virus to reemerge. It should clear up by itself but if she becomes very unwell it would be worth a vet visit. The initial viral stage has likely caused a high temperature which could be putting her off food.

This may be just an upper respiratory infection which can be viral and last a good two weeks. If B isn't eating or isn't acting right then I would recommend going back to the veterinarian. I'd be concerned in that frequent sneezing isn't normal, and it can be a sign that Miss Press is sick. Given this has been going on for a week, I'd make a visit with the vet for a health check. It's highly possible that they're all experiencing a flare-up of feline herpesvirus, which tends to produce mild upper respiratory signs such as sneezing and ocular discharge. Most cats already have the virus in their bodies but don't have symptoms, but living in a stressful environment (shelters) or going through stressful events (having a new cat brought home) can trigger recurrence of the active infection. If it's been a week and a half they likely do need to see the vet, however most of them will improve with supplementation with the amino acid lysine and supportive care.

I'm sorry to hear that Mazy isn't feeling well! With her sneezing and watery eyes, it's most likely that Mazy is experiencing an upper respiratory infection (URI). These infections are most commonly caused by herpesvirus or calicivirus, and these viruses tend to shed and cause problems during times of stress, such as surgery and/or moving to a new home. (Don't worry - these viruses are not contagious to people!) While the viruses just need time to run their course, some cats can develop secondary bacterial infections as well. It would be best to take her to the vet for an exam. Did you change her food when you brought her home last week? Sudden diet changes can cause some stomach upset for many animals, which can lead to some vomiting. Other causes of vomiting can include parasites, gastroenteritis from eating something unusual, pancreatitis, among many other issues. You can try to offer her a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken for a few days before gradually mixing in her regular food over another 5-7 days. Also be sure to mention this issue to her vet when she gets checked out for the upper respiratory issues. I hope that she feels better soon!
