My cat is sluggish with fever, sneezing, and goopy eye. What's wrong?

If they agree that based on an examination, that seems to be the issue, they will likely prescribe medications to make him feel better. By your description, he could have an upper respiratory infection. This would need to be confirmed by your veterinarian after a physical exam. Boo Bear may need antibiotics to clear it up. There is nothing OTC that can safely be used for cats.

A visit at your local vets is strongly recommended to confirm the diagnosis and to start treatment for Echo. He will likely need a course of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory agent and a decongestant medication.

This kitten should be examined by a vet. He has an upper respiratory infection - may be viral, like herpes, or bacterial. The vet will prescribe some antibiotics and some topicals for the eye. This is not something you can fix at home.
