My cat has a skin infection. How do I get it treated properly?

I need to know how to treat my cat's disease. I have male cat. Age is greater 6 months. He weighs 5 pounds. He health looks normal other than this skin problem. I am anxious to know how to treat. Please give brief recommendation on his health

You need to take him to a bet asap!! His skin is terrible! It looks like it is infected with yeast, bacteria or mange mites, but i suspect it is a combo. It neefs treated with an antiparasite, antibiotics, medicated shampoo and antinflammatories. Do not attempt to treat at home, it is way beyond that.
