Why is my cat losing hair, stinking, and her vet treatment failed?

This could be caused by a secondary bacterial infection, mites, fleas or an allergic reaction, it sounds quite severe, I wouldn't wait any longer, you need to take her to the vet in order to get it treated.

You need to take him to a bet asap!! His skin is terrible! It looks like it is infected with yeast, bacteria or mange mites, but i suspect it is a combo. It neefs treated with an antiparasite, antibiotics, medicated shampoo and antinflammatories. Do not attempt to treat at home, it is way beyond that.

It looks like your cat has a skin infection, most likely caused by allergies or fleas. The allergies can be from a protein in her food or to something in the environment, like grasses, pollens, dust etc. I would recommend taking your cat in to see the vet so she can be started on some antibiotics to help clear up her skin. Please, take Tonks back to your vet to examine skin scrapes under the microscope and possibly to change treatment she is currently receiving.

I don't see any hard evidence of fleas although i can't rule it out and would recommend treating for them anyway, this looks more like either a fungal, bacterial infection or an allergic reaction. i would not recommend using this shampoo prior to getting this condition diagnosed by your vet.

She could have a skin infection and/or an allergic dermatitis. She may need an antibiotic and/or corticosteroid to help treat. It would also be a good idea to recheck her thyroid level if she hasn't had it checked in the last 6 months.
