Is my unspayed cat pregnant if she's chubby, licking, no swollen teats?

I think she might be in heat. I would try to keep her inside as it doesn't take cats very long to get the deed done! Cats are pregnant for 60 days, so if her belly and mammary glands continue to get larger then she is likely pregnant and you'd have kittens 4-6 weeks from now. Good luck!

Yes, it is likely she is pregnant. The gestation time for cats is 58 days. Most cats have kittens without problems and nurse and raise them fine. Yuki's nipples and mammary glands look like those of a pregnant cat. I see that she has not been spayed, so if she got out of the house or has been around ANY intact male cats, I think it's most likely that she's pregnant. If there is absolutely no chance that she's been around any intact male cats, then there is a chance that her body is going through a pseudopregnancy. These false pregnancies can occur due to hormonal imbalances after being in heat and usually last a little over a month. It would be best to have Yuki examined by her vet to determine if she is or is not actually pregnant in order to help you plan for her care. I hope that everything goes well!

Hello, sorry to hear about Jewel. If she truly is intact, she could be preagnant. You could confirm this by having either an ultrasound or an X-ray of her abdomen to check for fetuses. Hello. It does sound like your cat is pregnant. Female cats often seem to become more affectionate & content when they are pregnant. The hair loss may be related to normal shedding, but often in pregnancy, some hair loss will occur. I would switch her food from a maintenance or adult cat food to a kitten food. Feed her the kitten food for the rest of her pregnancy & while she nurses the kittens. Once the kittens start to wean onto solid food ( at about 3-4 weeks of age ) you can slowly transition her back to her regular adult cat food. Yes it is possible for a cat to get pregnant at the age of 6 months, sometimes even at 4 months. Her nipples are indeed very big and this could point to a pregnancy. If she is gaining circumference and has been for a while, and if she had access to outside when she was in heat, then it is very likely she met a tomcat. You can have her checked by your vet (xrays or ultrasound) to check for pregnancy and also for the number of kittens, which will help determine when she is done giving birth.

She very well may be pregnant. Her belly does look abnormally big there. Watch for signs of pregnancy such as mammary gland engorgement, continued weight gain, increase in appetite. Also you can have her seen by your vet for an exam to check for fetal heartbeats or to identify the fetal skulls, via radiograph (as early as 45 days gestation). If she is suspected to be pregnant then it's also best to feed her kitten food which is going to satisfy her high calorie requirements and ensure she makes a good supply of milk for her kittens.
