Why is my cat peeing and pooping on my bed after a cat visit?

SI am sorry to hear about your concern for Sadie. Some cats are very sensitive to change and it can cause anxiety which then leads to inappropriate urination. This is possibly what is happening with Sadie. You can try a calming pheremone product called Feliway, either sprayed on the bed or in a diffuser https://www.feliway.com/us and a calming supplement like Zylkene or Composure (available online) to see if this helps her.

If it’s the exact same spot on the bed, the first thing I would try is getting a litter box for right on the bed where he goes. If he goes for that, awesome. Leave it there a few days (cleaning it daily of course) and then slowly start moving it toward the side of the bed, an inch or two each day. 

 This could be that he feels there is competition with another cat, has anxiety, cor some other thing that we may never figure out. 

 Spraying that area with products designed to get rid of the smell, rearranging the furniture, keeping th bedroom door shut at all times are also all tactics to try.

 Finally, speak to your vet about anti-anxiety/behavior modification medication which can help quite a bit with inappropriate elimination.

Hi, thanks for using PetCoach! Poor Louie! if this JUST started after the grooming one day ago, then I would confine him to a small room with his litter box, food and water. I would buy a Feliway diffuser to help calm him down. Clean your bed well with an enzymatic pet cleaner like Nature's Miracle or Anti-Ichy Poo. Then keep your door closed for a while. Once he seems to have calmed down, in 7-14 days and is using the litter box in the room, let him back out. Keep your bedroom door closed. She might have a health issue, such as a urinary tract infection, bladder stone, or an endocrine disease, or it may just be behavioral. Take her to your vet to have her examined, and have some lab work run to rule out a medical cause. If it is behavioral, there are things you can do to try to help. I recommend to speak with your veterinarian about trying a medication to try to help with this behavior. Other options that may help include providing tall climbing areas with hiding spots, a Feliway diffuser or a diet called Calm. This may help relive some anxiety when you travel. Cats may also do this if the box is not clean enough for them. You may try an automatic litter box. Make sure to introduce her to the litter box well before your next trip. It certainly could be another problem with Luna's urinary tract, like feline idiopathic cystitis. Having another cat in the house is stressful, and that can lead to this cystitis. I'd have her seen by a vet to have this diagnosed and treated. I'd also get your male cat neutered. I hope this helps!

A good rule for cats is one litter box per cat plus an additional one.
