Why is my cat peeing on my bed? Is it a UTI or new cat stress?

It could be that Mostafa is suffering from a UTI, and that's why he urinated on the bed. I would have him seen by a vet today. Your vet can do routine blood tests and a urinalysis to see if he does have a UTI or bladder stones. If he has a UTI, he will need antibiotics to treat it. Bladder stones may need to be removed surgically, or can be managed with diet.

Yes, a UTI is always a possibility when a cat suddenly displays inappropriate urination. I would have Norah seen by a vet tomorrow for a physical exam, blood test, and urinalysis. These tests will help diagnose if she does have a UTI, and should she have one, the vet can prescribe medication to treat her. This isn't a behavioural problem, it's probably a bladder inflammation which cats get due to stress, which he obviously had because of the dog. You will need to take him to the vet in rder to get some medications to reduce the bladder inflammation, he will also need to be on a special diet for about a month to help reducing the bladder inflammation.

If he's living with other cats who do not like him, that will stress him out. Most urinary tract "infections" in non-geriatric cats are not caused by bacteria (antibiotics kill bacteria) but inflammation caused by stress. This is called feline idiopathic cystitis. Male cats also seldom have a bacterial cystitis as the urethra is much longer than a female's urethra and therefore bacteria would have to travel much farther to get into the bladder. It could be he has feline idiopathic cystitis, so I would take him into the vet. If he does have it, the vet can prescribe prednisone. It takes the inflammation which in turn takes the pain, and it is also a diuretic which helps flush the bladder. I hope this helps!

Stress can certainly cause an accident in the house like this. if it only happened once and Tsuki seems otherwise healthy and OK, I would just continue to monitor, and clean/wash any areas she urinated on. If the accidents continue, she seems painful in the belly, vocalizes more, is going to the litter box more frequently, etc, then a vet visit to rule out UTIs is best.

I am not sure what a doona is but when a cat has inappropriate urination this can be caused by a few different things. She can have a urinary tract infection, it can be bladder stones, it can be stress related or it can be a systemic disease that is causing her to urinate more.
