Why is my cat peeing often, licking, meowing, and missing litter box?

It could be Snow is suffering from feline idiopathic cystitis or bladder stones. She will need to see a vet for this problem. If she appears otherwise healthy and happy, eats and drinks plenty, you can wait until Monday morning. If she appears lethargic, ill or distressed, or if the urine appears very bloody, then she should be seen by a vet ASAP. Poor guy. He likely has a urinary tract infection or cystitis (inflamed bladder usually due to stress). I would recommend taking him to your vet for a urine test to determine which is present so that he is treated appropriately. As long as he is otherwise acting normal and able to urinate at will, then it isn't considered an emergency at this point. Getting him seen on Monday or the day after should be ok. It is likely he will be prescribed antibiotics and/or a prescription diet to treat this successfully. I hope that Milo gets better soon. Best wishes and take care.

This could be a one time accident, however it could be an early sign of FLUTD (feline lower urinary tract disease) which may also be referred to as FIC (Feline idiopathic cystitis). Other causes of abnormal urinations include bladder stones, urinary tract infections, and crystals in the urine. If you note any more of these behavior, it will be beneficial to have Felix examined sooner rather than later. Some cats may develop severe inflammation of their bladder which can lead to an obstruction. In the interim, you should add wet food to his diet and ensure he has readily access to copious amounts of water. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Poor Max! It's very concerning that he is crying when urinating, and I would check him to see if he is straining while urinating and if no urine is coming out. Crying when urinating can indicate a blockage by bladder stones, and the other symptoms seen are straining and producing no urine. A blockage is a medical emergency which is fatal without treatment, and if he straining and producing no urine, you have to get him into a vet right away. There will be a vet on call in your area for emergencies, and the information to reach that vet will be on their answering machine or website. I would find a vet on call to have him seen now, if he is blocked it absolutely cannot wait until the morning.

Given that Minx is a young male cat and having abnormal urinations and likely blood in his urine, I suspect that he may be suffering from Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC), or inflammation in the lower urinary tract. This is causing him difficulty urinating, and painful urination. I recommend having him seen by a veterinarian right away, before he becomes fully "blocked", meaning unable to pass any urine at all. This is a life-threatening emergency, and requires rapid veterinary attention. Your veterinarian will perform a physical exam and likely recommend bloodwork to evaluate the severity of his urinary tract disease. FIC is a treatable condition, but again, if he becomes unable to pass any urine at all, he can experience acute kidney failure and develop fatal heart rhythms. I hope this is helpful!

Oh no, poor Snow! This can be a sign of a UTI, bladder stones, or a urethral blockage from bladder stones. A blockage is a medical emergency as it is fatal without treatment, and because I can't see Snow in person to rule this out, it's best that he is seen by a vet immediately.
