Cat won't eat, has worms & urinary issues, no vet. What to do?

Parasite infestation in the gastrointestinal system is definitively possible. Poor guy. This sounds a bit more than just a bladder worm (very rare) and simple colitis. He could have a bleeding disorder (coagulopathy). I would recommend taking him back to the vet asap for a recheck and testing to see if he has a blood clotting abnormality (PT/PTT/ACT test and baseline bloodwork). He also may need radiographs to get a complete picture of his overall health status. When a cat decides to refuse food it is usually a serious illness that needs immediate medical attention in order to have any chance of turning things around. I would recommend taking Toby to another veterinarian if you are not comfortable with your veterinarian's diagnosis and treatment. If the stuff that is stuck to his anus looks like little bits of rice it could be tapeworms. Only certain dewormers will help with these worms. So it depends on what dewormer was given to say if it worked or not. Also tapeworms are caused by them eating fleas at some point. Intestinal worms are very common in kittens, and usually quite easy to treat :) If you are seeing them in the litter box, it's likely that they are either roundworms or tapeworms. If you can, try and put some of the worms in a plastic bag to show your vet - he/she can prescribe an appropriate dewormer to get rid of them. If Snow is not eating anything and has a fever, I would be concerned that something more serious may be wrong - worms do not normally cause these symptoms. It would be best to take him to the vet today for an exam. Your vet may recommend blood work or other testing to help diagnose the problem so that he can be properly treated.

She may be running a fever, have some pain/discomfort, etc. Your vet can take a detailed history, perform an examination, and recommend a diagnostic/treatment plan. Once a diagnosis is made a sound treatment plan can be implemented. You can try cyproheptadine if you have it but I'm concerned she may be running a fever from a viral infection, not sure how much the cypro will help. The normal dose is 2 mg every 12 hours in cats. If Gizmo hasn't eaten in 3 or more days, she is at risk of developing serious liver related complications. At this point in time, she needs to be examined by your veterinarian. Blood work should be submitted to assess major organ function. Bring the medication your gave her (or the package it came in) to your vet for examination as well. Depending on the type of worms, many very easily available treatment options efficiently treat these type of infections. Side effects can be present in very rare cases, but nothing that can lead to death as far as I am aware. Panacur for example is an excellent product that can treat most common gastrointestinal parasitic infections.
