Why are my pet's nails falling off and causing pain? Should I see a vet?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 2 lbs

Why are its nails coming out and it seems to be in pain, 3 have already come out completely, what can I do to stop this?

Cuty’s foot looks very irritated and abnormal. I’d worry that she has an infection or a tumor that has caused her nails to fall off. I would recommend having a vet examine her foot right away. They might recommend an x-ray of her foot.
