Cat's nail has dried blood, new nail stuck. Can I fix it at home?

A check up, appropriate disinfection and possibly antibiotics are needed to solve the problem, but disinfection can be started at home with very diluted hibiscrub or betadine or salted water baths (twice daily for 4-5 days). Buster collar may be useful as well to avoid any licking.

She probably got the nails stuck on a blanket or something and they got ripped. I doubt a tussle with the other cat would do that but I guess it's possible. If it is not bothering her it is best to just leave it alone for now. Monitor her for any worsening by looking at it once a day and keep her nails trimmed to prevent this from happening again! Some cats will get this around their nail bed. It's a buildup of skin cells, dust and dirt. If he will let you, you can clean the nail by soaking his foot in warm water and using a soft brush to remove the gunk. If the nail bed is reddened and inflamed, it's a good idea to get him seen by your vet as he may need antibiotics to help him clear it up.

The nail will eventually regrow with time. At this stage it is essential to remove/cut the nail (a picture of it would be essential to give you more specific advices about how to to do it) and keep the area underneath (nail bed) disinfected (you can use an hibiscrub solution).
