My cat's lump burst open and matter came out. What should I do?

My 2 yr old cat has a large lump that held matter inside I. Thought it might of been a siste but last night on it's own popes what was it and what do I do and yes she's a indoor cat only with all shots and fixed.

Hi there and thanks for posting!

If you cat has a lump or mass that has appeared to have ruptured, I would visit your veterinarian right away. The mass may need to be removed or treated with antibiotics. Your veterinarian may also take a sample of the mass to determine what it is and if it needs to be removed.
