Max needs to be examined by the veterinarian today. Pets have to be in a lot of pain not to eat. Max will also get medication which will help him to feel better and start eating and drinking. Remember that dehydration can set in quickly and will make Max feel even worse so it's important that he feels better quickly so that he will resume his normal drinking and eating. Poor baby. Looks like a pouty lip..lol. it is swollen, has a secondary inf3ction, and an ulcer. These can be caused by a primary infection, contact irritation, insect bite, or an immune mediated condition. Make sure his bowls aren't plastic, and call your veterinarian in the am to schedule an appointment to get it checked out.

I am so sorry to hear about your kitty. Chipotle sounds like and appears to be quite ill based on your description/photos. The drooling could be do to nausea (which can be due to many different diseases), infection in the mouth or the throat or nasal passages, tumors in these areas. He needs to be seen by a veterinarian as soon as possible to determine what is causing these symptoms.

Hello. It sounds like your poor kitty is unwell. This could be anything from an upper respiratory infection to some dental issues, such as an infected or abscessed tooth. Most of these things are just too complicated to try & deal with at home, especially if antibiotics are needed. I would be concerned that Pancho has an infection in his mouth and would recommend seeing a veterinarian. Kidney disease, viral diseases, and burns to the mouth from ingesting caustic chemicals could cause similar signs. If Pancho is eating and drinking normally you might be able to wait to have him seen until tomorrow, but if he is not eating or if he seems very lehargic you should see a vet today.

I am very sorry that Kitty has his sore near her lip. Thank you for proving pictures, it is difficult to know precisely what caused this lesion it may have been a cat scratch, a traumatic puncture from for example a fence, or possible a primary skin like feline acne, or allergic disease. At this stage it appears to be slightly crusted and inflamed and I would suggest a trip to the veterinarian. The vet will most likely clean the wound and debris any necrotic material. The vet may also send home pain relief, anti inflammatory medications and / or antibiotics. The vet will also be able examine the area and reach a diagnosis.
