Should I take my cat to the vet? There’s this sore by his mouth that started bleeding last night. It’s stopped now but his lip still looks a little funky. He’s about 6 years old, definitely overweight but on a diet. The second and third image are from last night and the first is from this morning

The bleeding has passed and I am sure she is sore from the injury. You can make sure it stays clean and I would recommend taking her to the vet since it is deep. It is a heavy traffic area which can trap dirt and food from grooming and eating and that can lead to an infection. Generally these heal without even knowing it was there
