Why is my cat limping, sneezing, and in pain with a leg wound?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed

We noticed about 5 days ago that my cat was limping and it looked like she had a little puncture in her leg and ever since she has been sneezing and has runny eyes. She is a part outdoor cat and part indoor so I’m not sure if the puncture is from another animal. She has also been moaning like she is in pain.

Most likely the puncture is from a fight with another cat. It is probably not directly related to sneezing/runny eyes. It sounds like she also has an upper respiratory infection (URI). She may have caught it from another cat. I suggest you take her to the vet for an appointment. It is not an emergency but I would consider it urgent especially if she is moaning in pain.
