Why is my cat not eating, drinking, lethargic, and losing weight?

Hi. What a beautiful cat!! Sounds like he is pretty sick. The weight loss is the most concerning, I would get him to the ER this evening to be checked out and have some lab work and x-rays done.

Ariel sounds very sick, and I would consider this a medical emergency. She could have a systemic illness, infection, or injury causing her problems. She needs to see a vet now. Please take her into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. Poor Uncle Fester. Thanks for more information on it. If you are really worried about it, and I understand why you are, there's no harm in taking him into an ER vet. He may need intensive care. I recommend doing that now.

These signs are probably not due to old age alone and there is likely something going on with Shadoe. Unfortunately, without a full physical exam and diagnostic testing, it is not possible to determine what could be causing these signs. However, lethargy and eating and drinking very little along with weight loss are very concerning signs that warrant a visit to the veterinarian. I doubt very much that the litter change had anything to do with the signs you are currently seeing in Misu. Lack of appetite and not drinking water are both serious problems that could be caused by pain, nausea, internal organ problems (like kidneys or liver), or intestinal issues. Unfortunately these are very vague signs and he will need some tests, like bloodwork, urinalysis, and possibly x-rays to determine what is going on, and how to treat it. I urge you to call again and make an urgent appointment, or take him on to see an emergency veterinarian tonight.

Possible causes for weight loss and not eating in a young cat are: foreign body, intestinal parasites, feline leukemia, FIP (feline infectious peritonitis), toxin ingestion, or even cancer. Your Vet may do blood work, feline leukemia test and X-rays. The tests will be based on their physical. I wish you and Princey the best of luck and I hope he gets better soon!
