My cat is suddenly lethargic, aggressive, losing balance, won't eat.

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 5 years and 11 months old | 15 lbs

My cat has been acting lethargic lately, but I didn't think too much about this because he spends most of the time indoor and he sleeps a lot. But couple days ago he started to act really strangely, making sounds, little aggressive -not like him. We comfort him a lot during couple days so he stopped noises, but he walks funny, looses his balance, seems like he doesn't know what to do with himself anymore, stopped eating, mostly laying down in the position that he wasn't before ithappen overnigh

You need to take Kiki for an examination at the vets asap. Refusal to eat and lack of balance could be attributed to many different conditions some of which can be fairly serious. Your vet will likely need to run some tests to get to the bottom but of this.

This does not sound normal and I recommend to have her examined today. A blind cat generally does not have trouble walking. Instead they tend to walk slowly and cautiously but they are not unbalanced. A sudden onset of neurological signs is always concerning and could indicate poisoning, a stroke from a blood clot or even potentially infectious diseases which can infect humans like Toxoplasmosis. I would take Kiki to your vet to be evaluated. There are a number of conditions that can cater weight loss in cats, but some are treatable. Your vet will likely want to check some blood work to try to figure out what's going on with him. In general though when they have fewer good days compared to bad days their quality of life may be declining.

Why is my senior cat losing balance and having trouble eating?

Monkey Cat needs to be examined by the veterinarian today. Balance problems are never normal and can indicate many things including metabolic disease, drug exposure, an infection in the brain, cancer, low blood sugar, neuropathy and other causes are possible. A physical exam and bloodwork is needed to begin figuring out the cause and the best treatment. Other diagnostics may also be indicated. I hope it's nothing too serious and that she gets back to normal quickly.

This is an emergency. Your cant needs to be seen by a veterinarian right away. She needs a thorough exam and blood work. The signs are too unspecific to pinpoint the problem without an exam. This could be a central nervous condition or weakness due to an electrolyte imbalance or a viral disease. Please take her to a vet right away.

My old cat isn't eating, is wobbly. Should I take her to the vet?

Your kitty needs to be seen by a vet. These are concerning symptoms in an older cat. They can become dehydrated very easily. Not eating can be caused by numerous things including things with the gi tract itself and diseases of any other organ system (kidneys, liver, etc). Your vet can perform an exam and then likely will recommend starting with bloodwork +/- xrays. This is the best plan to figure out what is going on and to get your kitty feeling better. It sounds like Kara may be pretty unwell. There are so many potential causes for her to act this way - it can be very concerning when a cat stops eating, sometimes it is due to a fever. Please take her for a veterinary exam as soon as possible to try to determine what could be wrong. Your vet may suggest tests like blood work and xrays to determine the cause of her illness. Why is my cat losing weight, losing balance, and acting clingy?

Sudden weight loss is always a very big warning light that should not be taken lightly, it's usually a sign of an internal disease that needs to be investigated, i strongly recommend taking him to the vet in order to get it checked, he will need to have a blood test done and possibly an xray as well in order to attempt to diagnose the reason for these symptoms.
