What's causing my cow's leg skin condition and what should I do?

This could be from skin mites or ringworm. Both are extremely itchy. I suggest you try treatment for skin mites first. I have no idea what products you have to treat this in Pakistan so I suggest you ask your local vet for a product recommendation.

Without seeing Milly in person, I can't say if her leg can be fixed in any way. Surgery may be an option for her, but her vet has to evaluate if that can be done. I suppose the other option would be to put her to sleep if this can't be fixed, as she cannot stay in this condition.

This could be an allergic reaction, a skin infection (bacterial or yeast) or even a skin tumor. You should have it examined by your veterinarian, as it is not possible to distinguish these by just looking at a photo. An bacterial skin infection can usually be treated with antibiotics , a fungal infection (yeast) with a fungicidal medicine. To identify a tumor, your vet may want to do a fine needle aspirate (he takes some material from the area in question with a needle and then looks at it under the microscope) to determine whether this is concerning.

I can’t be sure from the photo but this looks like a fungal or bacterial infection. Horses often get this from irritation and moisture. I recommend scrubbing the affected areas twice daily with iodine based shampoo, or another anti bacterial and fungal shampoo. Scrubbing the skin to remove the scales and debris will make it look more inflammed but will let the air get to the skin and speed healing. Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. Judging from the pictures you have provided I suspect what you are seeing is due to a skin infection, either bacterial or fungal. I would recommend that a veterinarian examine the area so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. If you are unable to get to your vet right away I would recommend starting the below products which can be found online quite easily or at your local pet store. There's no way to know for sure from a photograph, but it does look like a bacterial infection. It is important to have this seen by your vet to determine what it is so the correct treatment can be started as soon as possible before it gets worse or is a sign of an underlying problem. Your vet will do an exam, possibly labwork, and based on these results will be better able to tell you what is causing this and how best to treat it.

The first picture of the brown legs looks very suspicious of possibly mites to me, especially if he is itchy. The other 2 pictures looks ok like they might just be an elbow callous and I am less worried about that. Regardless, I would encourage you to have him evaluated by your veterinarian soon.
