My cat is in heat. Can she get spayed right away, is it safe?

my cat is on heat can she get spayed while on heat? my vet sugested to operate her here and now.

    Hi, cats are often spayed when they are in heat . I would be worried if your vet did not have a lot of experience in neutering but if he is confident and experienced I am sure that Snowy will be absolutely fine.

    It can still be done however the vessels are larger and every thing is something so there is an increased risk for a little more bleeding. It is not general enough to cause harm but is a side effect. You can talk to your vet to see when they can schedule

    You can get her spay at any time, it is just slightly more risky to spay a cat during her heat cycle but most vet feel very comfortable doing the surgery anyway and overall risks are still very minimal.

    That is a short heat cycle interval, but cats can cycle frequently during this time of year. Yes, it is possible to spay Haro while in heat, but it can be a little more complicated a surgery due to the increased blood flow to the uterus. Due to this, the vet will charge extra, but it can be done.
