He may have something in it like a hair or he could have injured it somehow. Place an e-collar (cone) on him and have him seen by your veterinarian or at the nearest veterinary ER. When they squint the eye they do that because it’s painful; so she is in pain. Usually they squint because there has been an injury to the cirnea. I suggest you get her to the vet for an exam.
