My cat's wound is healed, but should I finish all his antibiotics?

Pet's info: Cat | Russian Blue | Male | neutered | 7 lbs

Hi, My cat got a puncture wound about a eight days ago i took him to the vets got gave me a a lot of antibiotics tablets to give him.. he has been taking a half a tablet morning and night. the puncture wound is completely gone. but there is quite a few tablets left. should i keep giving him the tablets?
