My indoor cat got outside and fought with another cat. I'm not sure if the other cat was a stray or not. I noticed once my cat came back inside that he had a small scratch on the side of his face. My cat is up to date on his rabies shot. Is there anything I need to do about the scratch?

It looks like he has a hotspot/skin infection so he should be examined and treated by a vet. Your vet can clean the wound and prescribe an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory to treat. He may need to wear an E-collar to prevent scratching to allow healing.
