I believe this question is a continuation about Benji with ear mites and using Hartz treatment. I've made a treatment recommendation on your other post, but I will address the temperature of his ears here. When cats have an ear infection, their ears will be slightly warm. It could be that the medication isn't working (I'm not a fan of Hartz products), or it may not be ear mites causing his ear infection (it can be caused by bacteria or yeast). If you cat hasn't seen a vet already for his ear infection, I would take him into the vet for an exam. The vet can diagnose the cause of the ear infection, and can give an appropriate treatment for it. If you have seen a vet already for his ears and it is ear mites, I would not recommend using Hartz. You can use Revolution instead to treat his ear mites. It's a topical flea treatment that kills ear mites as well, and you can treat him by putting the treatment on the back of his head, not in his ears.
