My cat drank boat cleaner. What are poisoning signs to watch for?

I'm so sorry that Simba is not going well. You didn't mention how long ago he might have ingested the soap. We will see mostly GI signs (vomiting and diarrhea) with most soap ingestions, but some soaps have ingredients that cause damage to the lining of the GI tract and can require much more intensive treatment. I’d just watch her for now, and check her mouth to make sure there are no burns in it. If you see burns, take her into a vet immediately. If you want to rinse her mouth out well with water as a precaution and wipe her paws well with water to prevent any more possible ingestion that isn't wrong. If she becomes lethargic, drools, won't eat or in anyway appears abnormal then bring her to the Vet. But based on your description I think she will be fine. Rinse his mouth out with water right away, but do not induce vomiting. That can make the situation worse. Encourage plenty of water intake, soaking his food in tuna juice or gently warmed low sodium beef or chicken broth to get more fluids into him If you do see any abnormal symptoms such as vomiting, anorexia, lethargy, diarrhea, or irritation in his mouth, I would have him seen by a vet right away.
