My cat is very ill with cuts, not eating, and no vet access. Help!

She most likely has an infection and it can develop, if it has not already into an abscess. I would recommend trying to find an emergency veterinarian if you can. She most likely needs antibiotics. Poor kitty! It does sound like he has suffered an injury, and it's quite serious that he isn't going to the bathroom, eating, or drinking. He sounds like he is very painful, and unfortunately he has to see a vet immediately. He will need pain meds, and you cannot give him any human ones. That's because many are toxic to cats, and are fatal if given. In order to treat him correctly, he has to be diagnose by a vet, and there truly isn't anything you can do for him at home. Attempting to self treat him without knowing the cause of his symptoms is never recommended, as you may accidentally do harm to him. I would see if you can find a friend to drive you into a vet now. If paying for a vet is an issue, you can see if your vet accepts payment plans, if there is a low cost clinic in your area, or you can apply for Care Credit online. Poor Clementine, it is a lot to go through at her age, however I am confident she can get better. I would not worry about the ointment if the abscess has already scabbed over. You can try cleaning the pus away gently with some cotton wool and lukewarm water, if she allows you to do so. As her sense of smell is probably affected, you need to offer her food that smells quite strong such as tuna in water, or boiled cod, or Hill’s recovery wet food. In particular, this last food is in a pate form, and it can be made a bit more watery by adding some water to aid water intake. You could warm it up slightly in the microwave, and offer it afterwards. Always start small with portions, and if eating increase the portion and offer again in 2 hours. If she is still not eating by this afternoon best to have her checked over as she could benefit from being rehydrated and have her temperature rechecked as it could still be up a bit. Hope she makes some progress soon.

I would call around to find the closest vet in your country to take him into as he really does need veterinary treatment for it. You can gently clean the area with warm water and antiseptic soap, and I would put a bandage over it to keep it clean and dry. These signs are quite concerning but generic as well unfortunately. Differentials are many, from gastrointestinal diseases (infection/inflammations often dietary related) to any disease that can spread systemically (causing lethargy for example) like infection, and anything that can cause pain/discomfort. Skin wounds may be present. A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics may be needed.
