Why is my cat constipated on laxatives, not drinking, and curled up?

I'm sorry to hear Mau Mau is eating inappropriate things. I would be concerned that eating litter could be contributing to his constipation. Often cats that eat or lick inappropriate things can have an underlying condition, such as anemia, or even their diet is lacking in enough calories. I would recommend you take Mau Mau to your vet and consider doing some blood work to look for anemia or another disease process going on. He may need a diet change and potentially medication to help with the constipation. I hope he improves quickly and this behavior stops soon!

If he is still vomiting then he needs to be examined by a vet for treatment. If he is constipated, he may need an enema and medication to help soften his stool. He might also need an anti-vomiting medication.

I would make it a point to take Rron to the vet right away. These are concerning symptoms indeed. If he is constipated or even obstipated (unable to defecate) then they will need to place a rectal enema (sometimes under a mild sedative) to evacuate out his colon.

Seeing your vet ASAP is definitely a good idea to make sure there isn't an impaction causing the severe constipation that may need an enema or stool softeners to resolve. In the meantime, you can try offering a little bland yogurt to try and help the soften the stool, as well as make sure he's drinking plenty of water by mixing some into his food, but if Booboo is in severe distress, hasn't passed any stool at all, or is having other symptoms such as abdominal pain or stops eating, you should seek out veterinary care from your vet or a local ER clinic immediately.

It sounds as though Lil Man may be struggling to defecate and this may be causing him discomfort. I would recommend adding in Feline Laxatone and see if this helps normalize his bowel movements. With his age, if he hasn't had a veterinarian examine him in a while or have his blood tested, I would strongly recommend that you have this done in case there is something else going on systemically that is causing these symptoms. I would be worried about constipation. If he is having trouble passing stool they will get blood and mucus. They will also vomit when they are constipated. He may need an enema to help remove the feces. They may be able to feel his belly and see if they feel hard stool present or they may want to take xrays. Try and encourage as much water as possible and if he will eat canned food try that. The high moisture content can help. IF it continues they will want to see him and give an enema and possibly put him on a stool softener.
