My cat has a cold. When is it serious enough to take her to the vet?

My cat seems to have a cold. Is this serious and should I take her to the vet?

I'm sorry your kitty has a cold! Colds can become serious, so yes I would take her into the vet. As long as she is eating and drinking, isn't having difficulty breathing, isn't very lethargic, and/or isn't very congested, it's not an emergency and you can take into the vet tomorrow. If she isn't eating or drinking, is having difficulty breathing, is very lethargic, and/or is very congested, then I would take her into an ER vet now. Best of luck, I hope this helps!
