My cat had kittens. Should I play with her to stop chewing?

It can be normal for a mother to gently bite at a kitten, but if you feel Mum is being aggressive it may be best to allow supervised interactions only so you can intervene if she gets too rough. It is very beneficial for kittens to have time with their mothers, so I would only recommend completely isolating kitten from Mum if she is consistently showing signs of aggression.

It might be best to shift her attention to a larger stuffed toy. You can play with her in a similar fashion, but your hand won't be directly in her grasp. The toy can be a little smaller or the same size as her, and can be a newer toy or a gently used one from a thrift store. Hold the toy by the back and wiggle it at her in a similar way as you likely do when playing with your hand and the blanket. She may respond by flopping on her side or back, you can then push it to her belly or paws and let her grab ob and kick or bite to her heart's content. This serves to give you just a little distance between your hand and her claws. It's best to not use your hands to play fight with her, just in case she gets too involved and hurts you accidentally.

I recommend to stop all games that encourage him to bite or scratch humans (even in play). Satisfy his desire to play with more constructive games and really get him moving. Kittens should stay with their siblings and mother until tey are at least 12 weeks old for that reason. That said. you can throw lots of paper balls for her to chase, make a toy out of a stick with a long string and tie a few feathers at the end of the string. Play with her often until she is tired. Never tussle with your hands. If she attacks your legs, gently take her off and distract her. She will climb curtains and you , and that is part of learning and normal. Do not punish her, because she will not understand. All this will get less over time.
