Attached pictures- my cat has a patch of fur missing and her exposed skin is very red, is it an infection? She’s not on any medication currently. It’s been her bald patch has been like this for a week and only recently did her skin become red

This could be a spot of wear (from walking, etc.), from scuffing the foot on something (injury), from her licking the site, or an issue with the skin. If you dont see any redness or irritation and she is not bothered by it those are good signs. If the lesion gets bigger, is red or ulcerated, you see other skin lesions, or she is bothered by it i would recommend she see your family vet for evaluation. I hope this helps and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!
