My cat ate a little garlic potato. Is it dangerous? Should I call vet?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 4 months and 25 days old | 7 lbs

My cat ate a little bit of potato that had such garlic cooked into it. I caught him before he ate too much. Should I be concerned or contact our vet?

If he didn't eat a lot I would not be overly worried but if you can quantify how much he ingested it would be best to contact your local vet so they can do a calculation for you.
