My cat ate fish with ketchup & onion powder. Will he be okay?

He may experience some digestive upset but a one-time consumption shouldn't cause any problems with anemia. If he gets sick, refuses to eat, becomes lethargic, starts vomiting or has diarrhea, get him in to see your vet as soon as possible.

If it was only a small amount of garlic and onion powder your cats should be fine. Garlic and onion are toxic to cats but usually the dose that they can get from eating small amount of powder or seasoning is not toxic. I would suggest you to monitor your cats over the next 24-48hrs for signs of lethargy and inappetance. If they develop any worrying signs you should take them to your local vets.

This should be just fine. I expect that he may have a little intestinal upset from the grease in the chip, but he won't have gotten enough salt or onion to do him any harm.Keep an eye on him and if he does start feeling sick, get him in to see the vet right away. I've seen lots of cats steal chips and do just fine. Just try to keep them out of his reach.

Hello. I would not be concerned as long as the beans did not contain a significant amount of chopped/powdered onion or garlic. Onions & garlic can cause some problems in the blood & symptoms may not show for several days. You might see loss of appetite, depression, increased heart & breathing rate, weakness, jaundice ( yellow tinge to the skin & mucous membranes & a red to brown urine can occur. If Casper ate a small amount, like around 1/2 teaspoon, he will be fine. If he ate a substantial amount, you might need to take him to your vet quickly to have him cleaned out. It could be the fish has upset Voight's stomach. If he's otherwise acting normally now, I'd just monitor him. I'd seek medical attention if he starts vomiting again, has a loss of appetite, becomes lethargic, and/or his gums turn pale or white. I hope this helps!

If you gave her just a small amount she should be fine, but don't give it to her anymore, she doesn't need her food moisturized at all unless she has teeth disease (in that case she needs to be on canned food only).
