My cat is aggressive and scared after an attack. How to reduce stress?

Unfortunately the new cat is likely causing stress and this is a common feeling reaction to stress. She may not want to go outside as long as that other cat is around. It may be difficult to keep the other cat out of your area unless you want to purchase or build a fence. There are fences available that have curvature to the top that make it difficult for a cat to climb over. There are some things you can do at home that can help to manage her stress. Set aside 30 minutes a day for a vigorous play. Use a pheromone diffuser. There is a special prescription food made by Royal Canin called calm which may help. Use food puzzles. Give environmental enrichment. Lastly, your veterinarian has medications which can help as well. Many cats require a combination of therapies. Best of luck.

Yes, bullying from another cat can definitely cause stress and anxiety. Pheromone products and calming food or supplements such as royal canin calm can be very helpful. Try not to encourage the other cat, ensure there is no food available for him and that he cannot access bedding areas etc

Cats can keep up this stress type behavior sometimes for days. If she seems comfortable in your room then I would consider closing the door and keeping her safe if your room for a few days and then allow her access to the other areas in time. You can also use a product called NaturVet Quiet Moments calm treats plus melatonin for cats and see if this helps. If you are not having any success and they are still aggressive towards one another, I would recommend discussing this further with your veterinarian as anti-anxiety medications may be the next step. He may be experiencing some stress and anxiety from having another cat in the house. You could try Feliway Spray or a diffuser and see if that helps. I'm not surprised Chippy is jumpy, he was ambushed and he likely doesn't feel safe at the moment. I would get Feliway diffuser, it releases calming pheromones. Pair it with a Sentry calming collar, this may help him.

I am sorry to hear about Memphis. Sometimes cats will react to a stressful situation by transferring their frustration/aggression to those nearby. I would be sure your kitty has a safe area at home where he feels like he can hide/get away if wanted and he can easily access his food/water/ and litterbox for the next few days.
