Poor Peque, these are very severe kidney changes. An acute kidney injury in a young patient does have a chance of recovery and return to reduced but sufficient function depending on the severity of the injury and degree of scarring which develops. The results on Monday and again 3days after the intravenous fluids are stopped will tell a lot about his ability to recover
