Anxious cat not eating/drinking 6 days, peeing inappropriately. Help!

Have Moose examined tonight by your veterinarian or at the nearest veterinary ER. A cat that is not urinating or is unable to urinate should be considered a veterinary emergency. An exam and testing may diagnose another urinary tract infection or a urinary obstruction. Blood work can be submitted to assess major organ function, especially kidney function. Treatment will depend on the diagnosis.

Take Piper back into a vet immediately. It's extremely serious when a cat won't eat, and if they don't eat going on 72 hours, they will develop a fatty liver which is fatal without treatment. Please take her into a vet now. Best of luck.

As your cat has not been eating for a few days now as well as not drinking, this is an emergency. Cats can get liver disease from not eating for more than 2 days and not drinking will make them dehydrated and feel even worse and less inclined to drink and eat. Vomiting bile can be a sign of chronic or acute pancreatitis. There are some diseases that will have to be ruled out (can be done easily with a blood test), such as kidney disease and hyperthyroidism and dental problems. I think taking her to an emergency clinic is definitely warranted.

I am sorry to hear Pistol Pete isn't feeling well. It sounds like he is painful somewhere. I recommend taking him to the vet ASAP to determine why he isn't eating or drinking. I doubt very much that the litter change had anything to do with the signs you are currently seeing in Misu. Lack of appetite and not drinking water are both serious problems that could be caused by pain, nausea, internal organ problems (like kidneys or liver), or intestinal issues. Unfortunately these are very vague signs and he will need some tests, like bloodwork, urinalysis, and possibly x-rays to determine what is going on, and how to treat it. I urge you to call again and make an urgent appointment, or take him on to see an emergency veterinarian tonight.
