My parrot is quiet with liquid under its beak after being outside. Is it sick?

Unfortunately, those are all very vague symptoms of illness that can be caused by any number of things including infections, diseases, parasites, malnutrition, etc. It would be best to bring Mitthu to your local vet for a complete exam to try and find out what is wrong. They may suggest additional tests such as bloodwork or an X-ray to help find the problem. In the meantime, keeping him in a warm hospital cage that is separated from any other birds and with easy access to food and water in shallow dishes with low perches may help some until he can be seen by a vet.

These are very severe symptoms, Mitthu is very sick and needs to be taken to an avian vet specialist urgently, it could be an infection, poisoning or a foreign body ingestion, he will need to have a blood test done as well as an xray in order to try and find out what is the cause of these symptoms.

If Mitthu is still vomiting or showing other signs of illness such as lethargy, not wanting to eat or drink, etc, it would be best to seek veterinary care to rule out any issues such as illness or infection causing it. If the vomiting has stopped, it could have just been from stress as you suggested, however keeping an eye on her over the next few days to see if any symptoms return is best.

Some neurologic, muscular, diseases processes, and nutritional issues can cause similar symptoms. It would be best to bring Parrot into a local vet ASAP to have him examined, bloodwork taken and possible X-rays taken to look for underlying issues and provide treatment. In the meantime, making sure he is kept calm and quiet, can still access food and water (and is eating a balanced diet of seeds and pellets for budgies) and separating him from any other birds in the cage can help him feel more comfortable until the underlying cause can be determined.

Unfortunately, not eating and being listless are very vague symptoms of illness. Anything from being overheated, to having internal parasites, GI upset, underlying illness, etc can be a potential cause. If they have not eaten anything in several days, it is best to seek veterinary care immediately as by the time birds show symptoms of illness they are usually pretty sick. Until you can get to the vet, separating them into warm hospital cages that are kept in a quiet, dark area with easy access to food and water may help, however seeking veterinary care is needed.

First of all, he needs a much bigger cage! this cage is horribly small for Mithu. the symptoms he is showing are probably non related to the cage though, he is probably suffering from an infection and needs to be seen by an avian vet urgently. birds take baths themselves, you just need to put a big water dish at the bottom of the cage, but you need a much bigger cage for that too.
