Why is my conure limping after an accident but now improving?

If limping a veterinary visit is recommended to assess and provide a diagnostic/treatment plan. Fractures need to be stabilized in order the heal. if a sprain/strain, analgesia can help recovery. Ouch! That does sound like she's injured her foot. Until you can get to the vet, providing some low, flat perches that are easier to stand on (like a platform rather than having to curl her toes around it) and food and water dishes she can easily climb in and out of may help her relax the foot a bit and maintain her balance easier. Keeping her warm and preventing her from picking at or chewing on the foot can also help. If she's housed with other birds, moving her to a hospital cage to avoid being picked on is also a good idea.

This may indicate compromised blood flow to the limb. It is possible Fidel may lose the leg. You'll need to have him examined by your veterinarian or an experienced avian vet to determine if the leg can be saved. Have him seen today if you can, since infection can set in if the limb is "dead".

Birds have hollow bones, which enable them to fly, but this also means that they are very fragile and break easy. you will need to take Lurch to an avian vet ASAP in order to check if any of his legs are broken, if they are he might require surgery.

Bumblefoot is very common in these little guys unfortunately, and there is no way to know for sure without seeing Puff. This would be my first guess. He really needs to be examined by a veterinarian, and likely needs to be on antibiotics and potentially a pain medication like Metacam. Hope that helps!
