Is wing clipping necessary for training my pet bird effectively?

Do i need to cut his/her wings off to train ??

It is not required, but many people do find it helpful to clip the tips of the flight feathers (this is NOT cutting the wings themselves, but just the feather tips, and is painless for the bird). This makes it a bit harder for the bird to fly, which makes it easier to keep up with them, especially when they're first getting used to you. Hope this helps!
