Why is my bird sick, lethargic, and huddled in the corner?

Given Tweety's age, he should be seen as soon as you can get an appointment. Birds are very good at hiding illness or injury until it is quite serious. In the meantime, keep him warm and as stress free as possible until he sees the vet. Do not allow him to fly and remove or lower perches to prevent injury from falls. Consider feeding a commercial handfeeding formula temporarily or soaked commercial pellets to get some food into him.

There are no medications that can be prescribed over the internet. But providing heat support in the 80-85 degrees range, 24/7 might allow him to conserve some energy that he would normally use to heat himself. Remove perches and allow to stand on a flat soft surface (towel or blanket). Ensure that food and water are within easy reach. Using a small syringe without a needle, to offer water is very important. Go slow as to not allow aspiration into the lungs.
