My female Alexandrine won't eat. Is male stress or pregnancy?

Alexandrines typically wean between 12 and 16 weeks of age but some may wean earlier. Continue to offer Blue handfeeding formula but don't force him. If he won't eat from the spoon​, make sure he has a variety of foods and fresh water in his cage. Weigh him daily to make sure he's not losing weight. You can also make a mash of the handfeeding formula and leave that for him to eat.

Hi and thank you for your question. This is quite a common behavior. If he is aggressive near/in the cage, get him out of this area using a glove or a perch before you handle him. If Mitthu doesn't want to eat food he is normally interested in, it is always best to have him sen by a vet to make sure there isn't an issue such as illness or injury causing him to not want to eat. Watery stool could be due to the food he is eating, being given too many treats, parasites, or general GI upset. Removing any extras such as excess fruits and veggies for a few days may help clear up the stool, however if he continues to not want to eat or has watery stool, the vet is best. If he checks out healthy, then switching him to a balanced parrot diet (many pet stores will carry commercial feeds that are usually a mix of pellets and various nuts and seeds) can help encourage him to eat more. You can add in some fruits and veggies as treats to help keep him happy and his diet varied.

If you just bought the birds yesterday they may still be a little stressed causing some fearful behavior and a reduction in appetite. Making sure their cage is in a calm, quiet place, is free from drafts or extreme temperatures and the food offered is appropriate for their needs is a good first step. If your bird continues to not eat, remains listless or has worsening symptoms, seeking veterinary care ASAP is best.

Males can help sit on the eggs, or may offer food/support to the female so that she can still be fed and active. This is very normal behavior, and as long as both are taking care of themselves and the eggs and do not seem stressed out, I would not be worried. If the male is harassing the female to the point that she seems stressed, or can't get food or water, then separating the two for a time may be best.

Is the female coming out of the nest to feed? You can try offering food closer to her nest. Are you sure she is sitting and not ill and hiding? Try offering different foods that might be more enticing (grated carrots, alfalfa sprouts, millet, etc.) Good luck.
