The cuttlebone helps to provide the bird with minerals, but they don't really tend to eat it massively. As long as it is available in the cage the bird will pick at it as necessary. One cuttlebone could last a small bird years. Ensure you are feeding a good quality seed mix and Ringo should be great.

Thanks for reaching out. Are these birds becoming more mature, therefore hierachy changing, or competition over food, perches, territory? The daily diet should consist of some seed but also fresh vegetables (all), a protein source such as cooked beans/tofu, therefore treats can be fruit (dried, fresh). Good luck.

Happy birthday, Peko! I'm not entirely sure what smackers and petsile fruits are, but they look to be some sort of seed treat made especially for birds, so it should be OK to give. If you'd like to give the birds a special treat, some veggies such as salad greens, berries, fruits like a little apple or pear, etc can all be given as a fun snack as an alternate option. Other items such as spray millet are another fun treat most budgies enjoy. Make sure you are giving any treats in moderation and still feeding their regular diet to ensure they stay healthy and do not have any GI upset.

Time, patience, and lots of treats. If you notice Curio has a favorite food, you can start by offering that favorite food only when you're interacting with him. IE, when you pet him, approach his cage, let him out, etc. This can help him to associate you with something fun/good and also make him more curious every time you come by to spend time with him. The same can also be done with toys he likes to play with. Sitting near them when he's out of the cage playing, and feeding a treat every time he comes close or shows interest in you can help teach him that you are safe to interact with and play around. If at any time Curiou becomes nervous or scared, stopping the activity and letting him calm down is best. From there, you can go back to the previous way he was OK with (IE just giving a treat from your hand but not petting) and work again from there.

Preening is just the act of a bird grooming themselves -- you may be thinking of molting where the feathers are lost and then replaced with new ones. In both cases, the beak is usually not affected. If the beak itself is cracking or crusting, there could be an issue such as a parasite or infection of the beak or surrounding it, or even a nutritional issue that is causing the beak to crack. Keeping an eye on it and making sure you are feeding a balanced diet can help. If the crusting continues, worsens, or becomes bothersome, or Blueberry shows other signs of illness, having a vet take a look in person is best. As for taming, time and patience are key. You've only gotten him recently, so spending more time just being together, offering treats, etc can help encourage him to trust you more. If he gets too nervous at sitting on you, spending time at the steps he is comfortable at before trying again can help.
