First you need to make sure his teeth are OK. If they haven't been checked or floated in a while that is the first place I would start. You can feed him anything you want but if he can't chew properly he won't be able to break it down and digest it. Next you should make sure he has been properly dewormed. After that, your best bet to help him gain weight is to feed him a senior diet (like Equine Senior) and add some corn oil and rice bran too. Be sure he has good quality timothy hay to eat too. This link may also help you. ( https://www.purinamills.com/horse-feed/education/detail/feeding-horses-for-weight-gain )

I don't believe that there is one meal that is superior to all; however here are 2 websites that you can reference for homemade complete balance meal options for your pet. https://secure.balanceit.com/ https://www.petdiets.com/ A complete and balanced diet is best to promote a healthy haircoat. There is no medicine used for generalized shedding of the hair. However you can supplement with pet formulated omega 3 fatty acids to promote a healthy shiny haircoat. If you pet has actual bald areas, then its best to get him tested for a possible mite problem and treatment through your vet. A complete and balanced diet will also ensure proper growth and weight gain for your pet. Also regular dewormings can treat for any underlying intestinal parasites that can cause improper growth if left untreated. Some broad spectrum dewormers commonly used are Pyrantel Palmoate and Fenbendazole. THese are usually readily available at your local pet store or feed store. I hope this helps! Good luck

You can put your location into the search engine on this site: https://www.vetcoclinics.com/services-and-clinics/clinic-locations-and-schedules/ to determine the locations and times near you for vaccines. The cost will depend on the vaccinations needed which will be determined by your dog's history and the vet's recommendations but you can look at https://www.vetcoclinics.com/services-and-clinics/vaccination-packages-and-prices/ for some ideas on prices. You can use this link https://www.vetcoclinics.com/services-and-clinics/lifestyle-assessment/ to help determine what vaccines Harold might need. I do not believe most locations do nail trims but you can call the store where the vaccine clinic is located to find out, often a groomer is affiliated within many of the stores and the groomer will do nail trims.

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! To help the hair coat reach it's potential (you can not change genetics) feed a high quality commercial dog food (no people food), supplement with Omega 3 fish oils, brush the coat daily, deworm regularly if exposed to the outdoors and bath with a moisturizing shampoo as needed. I am not sure if Bee is losing hair, has balding areas or if you are just hoping for something different but you can always post a picture or provide details on what is going on with his coat. Have a good day!

Pro Plan is actually a good dog food. So unless your dogs have a problem with the food, I would not change. If you do indeed need to change dog food you can change to Royal Canine, Hill´s or Iams or any other reputable feed brand. Make sure you get a complete food for the size of your dogs. There is so much choice that it would be too much to list. I do not recommend Blue Buffalo as I have seen quite a few dogs on that brand who are not doing so well. Yes, definitely stay away from grain free dog food.
