Thanks for using Boop by Petco! It looks a little red but it could just be the coloring of the picture. As long as there is no heat, swelling or discharge it should be ok. There is a doughnut collar that may work- it blows up around the neck. A shirt would work too. One of those should help you out. Good luck and kisses to your pup!

Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco to address your concern! There are safe ways to dye a dog's hair such as food coloring or even natural dyes from foods such as beets that are safe, non-toxic ways to add color to Molly's hair. Some argue that changing the color of a dog's fur could cause undue stress as they are not used to seeing the color on themselves and others state that it could cause allergic reactions. Any of those arguments could hold true so whether you dye Molly's hair is up to you. I would just recommend using natural products or even use chalk (can find at pet stores) to add color to the fur. A more safe way you could take would be to find a sweater or shirt that is the color of what you would like. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! This is probably just a small wound and is of no major concern. You can apply a thin film of triple antibiotic for about 3-5 days to help prevent it from getting infected. If no improvement by then, have her evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Best of luck!

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Do they have noise phobias? Meaning do they care when fireworks are set off. If they don't care, I don't see why their routine has to change. My dog could care less about fireworks or thunderstorms so we let him out (fenced yard). As long as your dogs aren't roaming out of the yard and aren't scared of fireworks I would keep things the same. If they are scared then do not let them outside at dusk when fireworks tend to be set off, especially alone. Keep them indoors with the TV AND radio on in the most insulated sound proof area of your home and talk to your Vet about medicating them BEFORE fireworks are set off. I wish you all the best!

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! This is unfortunately difficult to assess without being able to see and examine the lesion. This may be due to an infection, inflammation, among other possibilities. I recommend that you have him evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to actually look at the lesion and determine what would be best to treat this with. Best of luck!
