Hello, thank you for using Boop by Petco. It sounds like PhatPhat has underlying allergies. That being said, it is not likely to be a true food allergy. If you play the odds, it is more likely to be an environmental allergy. The only way to know for sure if she has a food allergy is to have her allergy tested. I would really recommend you have that done. To answer your question specifically about dog food that is small bites and no red dye, I would recommend this one. It definitely can be a little bit of blood but I wonder if any of the treats or food he recently ate was red or had red pieces in it. If not then I recommend taking him to a veterinarian to get hydrated and make sure he gets stomach protectants with his medication. Thank you for using Boop by Petco.

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! I highly recommend vaccinating Spooky for his health, for the cat he may breeds health and his future kittens health. He should be properly dewormed, receive his FVRCP (feline distemper series which helps prevent infectious diseases) and his rabies vaccine. It is always best to be proactive about their health! Good luck!

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! This is possibly due to allergies. It really comes down to figuring out what is causing his allergies so that they can be treated or the specific allergen avoided. There are many things that can cause allergies though in most cases they can be broken down into 3 big categories: flea, food and environmental allergies. Allergies are usually worked up in a stepwise fashion starting with flea allergies as this is the easiest and cheapest to take care of. If not on a flea preventative, then it would be a good idea to get started on one. If already on one then it would be a good idea to change to something else (there are many new products out in the market). If not improved in 1-3 months then it is time to move on and check for food allergies by switching to a novel diet (new protein and new carbohydrate). If that does not seem to be the issue then you are left out having to check for environmental allergies which require blood and/or skin tests. Aller
