Hello. I do not know what might be available in Canada, but I highly recommend looking at this website for the Veterinary Oral Health Council. Click on the Accepted Products link at the top, then on accepted products for cats. It will list everything that is truly tested to provide results. Thanks for using Boop by Petco. https://www.vohc.org

Hello. Obviously, both cats were terrified by this incident. If all has not calmed down, then I would invest in a Feliway diffuser to try & calm your kitties. You can purchase these online or purchase at any pet retailer. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

I am sorry to hear about your concern for Skye! You are certainly a good cat parent to consider her in this situation. If she tends to be a shy cat I would consider keeping her in a bedroom during the party where she may feel more comfortable. You can also utilize calming products such as Feliway pheremone products (available as sprays or diffusers https://www.feliway.com/us#redirected ) and a calming supplement such as Zylkene or Composure https://www.vetoquinolusa.com/content/zylkene https://www.vetriscience.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=9008103030 . If you do decide to keep her confined in a room you could also provide some white noise for distraction (there are many recordings available online or as apps for phones, etc.

Hello. The cats & kittens offered at Petco are actually managed by individual rescue groups. Prices will differ from rescue to rescue. All cats can do well if they are played with & fussed over once you get home. Can they get into trouble & sometimes make a mess? Absolutely. If you do not want hair & dander & kitty litter tracked all over the house, you should not have a pet. Cats may need to have their claws trimmed ( NOT REMOVED ) & plenty of opportunities to exercise their claws, otherwise they will scratch your furniture, moldings & walls. You will need different types of scratching surfaces, plenty of toys, a water & food dish, litter box ( or 2 ), & lots of patience. All cats are individuals, so when you go looking to adopt a cat, take your family & give yourself plenty of time to spend with your potential pet, & ask lots of questions about them. Good luck & thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Thank you for providing a picture of the box and ingredients, it's very helpful. To answer your question, you do have to be careful with this around Salem. It contains xylitol, which is toxic to cats. I would not let him have any licks of it, and if you drink it outside the house, that's fine and he will be safe. I hope this helps!
