Hello, and thanks for your question on Boop by Petco. It's great that you're being conscientious about this! I recommend ceramic, glass, or stainless steel bowls. They tend to be cleaner, and are safe to throw in a dishwasher cycle now and then. I'd specifically avoid plastic. Hope that helps!

I bought a slow feeder from the pet store to slow down my cat's eating but she is barely eating and she will walk away from the dish. I don't know what to do if I go back to feeding her like I was she will gorge on her food and then throw it up. How
It may just take some time for Pumpkin to get used to the feeder. Some cats also don't like having their whiskers touch the sides of the bowl, so getting a larger sized bowl may also help. If she refuses to use it at all, feeding smaller, more frequent meals in a regular bowl can help her get enough to eat without eating too much and vomiting after a meal.

My kitten's lower mouth is been really red/swollen on and off for months. I've changed her porcelain bowls to stainless steel bowls. My vet thought it might've been the food but I tried switching her to Nature's Balance but she didn't really like it.
Yes, a contact allergy to food or bowls is quite likely, but an allergy to bedding, cleaning products or air freshener could also be possible. I would change her diet to royal canin hypoallergenic which is hydrolyzed in order to avoid sensitivities and change all bowls to stainless steel and rinse them thoroughly daily with warm water

Luna accepted to eat after so many tries. She's eating but only when i throw the food could some one help me to train her eating rom her bowl. Thanks
It may be impossible to train her to eat from the bowl. It’s not uncommon that pets will remove food from the bowl to eat on the ground or only eat if the food is placed on the ground. Unfortunately we don’t know why they exhibit these behaviors. I recommend to experiment with feeding her on a plate or a very wide bowl that does not come in contact with the whiskers on her muzzle or the top of her head. It could be a tactile sensation she does not like. Also observe her closely to make sure she’s not showing evidence of illness or not wanting to eat due to a medical condition. There are many reasons a cat will stop eating including sickness or dental problems. If you are not sure if Luna is healthy, have her examined by the veterinarian. Best of luck.

I am sorry to hear about Tacoma! This sounds very frustrating but likely is just playful behavior that she enjoys.
