Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Steroid use, dosing and the taper needs to be decided upon by a Vet that has examined the pet. We can not prescribe drugs or tell you how to use a drug because we legally are not allowed to. I am sorry. I recommend calling your Vet and asking them since they have a legal relationship with you. Have a great day!

Unfortunately no. It is illegal for us to prescribe medication from this site, we need to see Dixie in person in order to prescribe medication. You will need to continue to see your vet in order to get her prednisone. Best of luck.

Absolutely not. This medication must be given under the direct supervision of a veterinarian due to it's high potential for side effects and incorrect dosing. If your needs steroids (like prednisone) he must be examined by a vet.

Hello, and thanks for your question. These are very similar medications, but prednisolone is best for cats, as they are better at digesting that than prednisone. Prednisone isn't harmful, but prednisolone is better in cats. Hope this helps!

Unfortunately we cannot give you recommendation for dosage of a prescription drug online without having physically checked your dog first, this is against the law. you will have to contact your personal vet directly he might be able to give you this information over the phone.
