Thank you for using Boop by Petco! Ferrets typically do not enjoy being held, and do enjoy playing with their owners more. If you have only had Eddie for a short while, he may not be very used to you, or people in general. I recommend moving slowly with him, and offering treats when he approaches you. Ferrets tend to "remember" negative experiences, so it is important to be as gentle with him as possible early on. I hope this helps and am happy to answer any other questions you may have about Eddie!

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I would be extremely careful with this as Reese could accidentally hurt or even kill your ferret. If you’re going to do this, hold onto your ferret at all times to pull him out of harms reach if needed. If your puppy is particularly exhuberant, it might be a good idea to have a friend or family member hold on to his collar while you hold the ferret. Make sure they are closely supervised together until you know that Reese will play gently. Best wishes to you and your pets!

Thanks for reaching out. Marshal Farms, Totally Ferret of 8 in 1 brand probably have the best reputation and experience. But others could be fine also, read the ingredient label. Ferrets are very finicky eaters so might have to perform trial and error.

I agree it is difficult to pinpoint what is the problem with Fera. I wonder if she had any episodes of vomiting or weight loss, or has she been sneezing at all ? Any changes in her appetite ? Has she had any blood tests done ? If you can I would recommend to chose to go for further investigations, as the symptoms are quite vague but at the same time we don’t want Fera to become too poorly ! In order to answer your question, a consultation with one of our exotics vet might be your second option, providing as many details as possible would help formulating a differential list of conditions.

Hi there and thanks for using Boop by Petco! One of the things I will use with my clients is Revolution, which is a topical medication. I do recommend doing so only under supervision of a veterinarian-have your ferret checked to make sure the ear mites are the only problem as commonly other types of ear infections will present with similar symptoms. Your vet can show you how to apply and monitor for reactions if they have never had it. I hope this helps!
