Hello,I was suggested to buy VRS or Nordic brand for omega3 and Dasuquin for glucosamine.Is there other good brand for omega3? I prefer treats pls!. Is Dasuquin the best? Naturvet brand (NASC seal) could be a good option? If so,which product (there a
Vetriscience I believe have a treat formula for omega 3 fatty acids. I really like dasuquin but flexadin is also good. I have not used the naturvet joint supplement but you could try it. The both have a soft chew formula. Naturvet has an omega 3 FA supplement called omega gold. This would also be a good FA option. I hope this helps!

My dog is going through a food trial for allergies. They are thinking it might be a chicken allergy but are not sure yet, and it could be more than one. She is a year old. She is eating signature kangaroo food right now and seeing if that helps.
The key to doing treats while a dog is on an elimination diet is to use treats that have the same ingredients as the food you are trying. Sometimes the easiest way to do this is to use canned food of the variety and flavor that you are using to put in a Kong or bake into treats. Other options would be to use sweet potato chews if the food you are feeding has sweet potatoes in it (which Zignature kangaroo does not) or giving dehydrated chews that are the same meat source that you are feeding (which will be a challenge for a kangaroo food). So, for the food you are feeding right now, the best option may be to use canned Zignature kangaroo to create treats for Lucy. Good luck! I hope that was helpful. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Is it ok that 15% of my dogs diet is supplements, treats and chews? I give 1/4 tsp of oil per day, a joint pill, probiotics and one bully stick per week. I also started giving my dog two biscuits per day. They are 12 calories each. I counted everyth
No more than 10% of the dog's total daily calories should come from treats. Those two biscuits equal around 7% perfect of her daily calories, which is perfect! It's fine that 15% of her diet is the supplements, treats, and chews, keep up the good work!

Bully sticks are considered a treat; therefore, 12% of her diet is treats. If you make her treats 6% of her diet and supplements 4% of her diet, that will be fine. She should be having 10% or less of her diet from treats and supplements.

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! I would put her on a Glucosamine AND Omega 3 fish oils. I like Dasquinn treats and for fish oils I prefer VRS Omega Benefits but it is a liquid. Otherwise try Nordic naturals.
